How to Play VS. Mach Rider
Quick start
- Build speed on a clear part of the road.
- Steer early for the next bend.
- Avoid obstacles that interrupt the run.
- Cover the required distance before time expires.
Controls
Use the directional controls to steer the motorcycle. Use the action inputs to accelerate, brake and fire at road hazards; their physical assignment is not inferred from the generic NES button labels.
VS. Mach Rider — About this game
VS. Mach Rider puts the motorcycle on a timed road journey through hazards and traffic. Steering around bends preserves the progress needed before the deadline, while leaving the road or striking an obstruction interrupts the run. The arcade release exists in separate course versions, so its particular course format must be distinguished from the home cartridge’s selectable collection of modes.
