How to Play VS. Star Luster
Quick start
- Inspect Map Mode for the next enemy threat.
- Choose the encounter to attack.
- Fight it in Combat Mode.
- Return to the map and decide where the defence is needed next.

VS. Star Luster — About this game
VS. Star Luster divides the defence of its base between choosing a battle and fighting it. Map Mode lets the player decide which enemies to attack, while Combat Mode places the ship into the battle space. Switching between those views makes the choice of the next encounter part of the mission instead of simply following a fixed corridor of targets. Watching the map again after an engagement helps decide where the defence is needed next.
