How to Play Warlords
Quick start
- Move the shield between an incoming fireball and your castle wall.
- Hold the capture action as the ball reaches the shield.
- Release the ball toward a rival castle before holding it damages your own wall.
- Watch for additional balls as castles fall and the battle continues.
Controls
Move the shield using the cabinet's rotary control. Hold the action button to catch a fireball at the shield; release it to catapult the ball. Do not hold a captured ball indefinitely because it damages your own adjacent walls.
Warlords — About this game
Warlords makes defence and attack share the same moving shield. Protect a castle from ricocheting fireballs, catch one at the shield and release it toward a rival wall. A captured ball can produce a stronger attack than an ordinary rebound, but keeping it too long damages your own nearby walls. More fireballs appear as play continues or castles fall, increasing the number of angles to watch. The objective is to leave your castle standing after the other three have been destroyed.
