War of the Bugs confines its winged defender to the lower part of a mushroom field. Shooting upward removes enemies and mushrooms, changing the obstacles that redirect a segmented centipede. Each section must be hit before the next centipede enters, while other bugs threaten the player’s smaller movement area. Clearing a useful firing lane can help with the formation above, but it can also change where that formation turns. Watching both the upper route and the bouncing lower enemies keeps those choices connected.
