How to Play Welltris (Japan, 2 players)

Quick start

Move the falling piece along the wall.
Rotate it toward a gap.
Continue steering after it slides onto the floor.
Complete a line, using a bonus piece when available.

Controls

Move the piece with the joystick and use Rotate to change its orientation. Drop advances the placement. Keep steering as the piece reaches the floor, and avoid leaving segments beyond the floor’s edge.

Welltris (Japan, 2 players) — About this game

The arcade Welltris sends flat falling shapes down the sides of a well and onto its floor. A piece can still be steered after it reaches the bottom, allowing a last adjustment toward a complete line. Overflow costs room along the walls, restricting future movement. Special bonus pieces can clear the floor when used to complete a line, making a useful placement more valuable than an ordinary clear.
