How to Play Xenophobe
Quick start
- Choose a character with the left/right thumb actions and start with the trigger.
- Move into a room and aim at an alien.
- Fire or punch with the trigger.
- Read the thumb-button prompts to collect an item or use a room control.
Controls
Left/Right moves; Up/Down changes the firing height. The trigger fires a weapon or punches. Read the changing LEFT BUTTON/RIGHT BUTTON prompts: the left thumb action handles such moves as crouching, standing and jumping; the right takes objects and can throw a carried bomb or critter.
Xenophobe — About this game
Xenophobe combines alien extermination with scavenging valuable hardware from derelict stations and moon bases. Three separate screen areas let the players explore different rooms. Weapons and useful objects offer alternatives to fighting bare-handed, while a health reserve limits each exterminator’s survival. The mission can finish by clearing the infestation, ordering an early destruction or being evacuated when time runs out.
