How to Play X-Men: Children of the Atom (Brazil 950331)
Quick start
- Choose a fighter and learn the ordinary punch and kick ranges.
- Practise a dash and Super Jump.
- Watch the X Power Gauge before using the character’s X Power.
- Use a full gauge for a Hyper X attack when an opening appears.
Controls
Use Light, Medium or Heavy Punch and Light, Medium or Heavy Kick. Double-tap forward/back for a dash. Down then Up performs a Super Jump. Character-specific X Powers consume gauge for effects such as speed or duplicates. Hyper X requires a full gauge. A throw escape also uses X Power; use the character’s documented command for each special ability.

Choose from heroes such as Wolverine, Storm and Cyclops or adversaries such as Spiral and Omega Red, then learn the particular attacks that distinguish the selected character. The power meter builds during exchanges and supports stronger abilities, giving defence and ordinary attacks a role beyond their immediate damage. Fight through the opposing cast toward confrontations with Juggernaut and Magneto, adapting spacing as each mutant brings a different reach and set of powers.
