How to Play X-Men Vs. Street Fighter (Asia 961023)
Quick start
- Select a pair and learn the first fighter’s ordinary attacks.
- Tag with Heavy Punch + Heavy Kick while grounded.
- Let the reserve recover before another safe tag.
- Build two gauge levels before a team combination.
Controls
Use Light, Medium or Heavy Punch and Light, Medium or Heavy Kick. Double-tap forward/back for a dash. Down then Up performs a Super Jump. While grounded, Heavy Punch + Heavy Kick tags the reserve fighter, who recovers health while inactive. With two gauge levels, quarter-circle forward + Heavy Punch + Heavy Kick performs a team combination. Press all three Punch buttons while blocking for Advancing Guard. A character-specific launcher can be followed with Up for an aerial pursuit; automatic launch-and-follow behaviour depends on the selected control mode.

X-Men vs. Street Fighter makes a partnership the centre of each fighting match. One character battles while a teammate waits off-screen, gradually recovering health; a tag brings that partner into the action with an attack. The mutant cast and the Street Fighter roster meet under the same high-flying system, but their individual move sets still matter. Build ordinary combinations before adding variable attacks, and watch the power gauge before attempting a team technique that requires more energy than a single super move.
