Quick start
Begin the story with its first set of minigames. Read the short instruction before each task, act within its timer and watch how the gesture affects the scene. Revisit encountered games in training when a rule or pattern needs practice.
Controls
Use the stylus as each challenge directs: tap targets, draw circles, rub, slash or guide objects. Some minigames ask you to blow into the Nintendo DS microphone. There is no single movement-and-jump button scheme for the main challenges; read the instruction that appears for the current task.

The Nintendo DS adaptation turns Arthur's journey into fast sequences of small challenges. A short instruction gives way to a task that might test observation, memory or stylus accuracy, with little time to work out the solution. Tapping, tracing and other gestures change from one minigame to the next, and some tasks use the microphone. Story scenes link the sets, while training lets you revisit challenges already encountered. A separate mul-mul pet mode offers a quieter diversion alongside the rapid-fire main game.
