How to Play ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat
Quick start
Begin a new story and follow the opening mission. Before moving a team, check its remaining AP and nearby enemies. Approach one enemy group, then select an attack or skill for each participant. After the encounter, review health and supplies before spending more AP. Use preparation screens to adjust the team when the story makes them available.
Controls
Use the touch screen to select teams, destinations and menu commands. On the field, check the proposed action and AP cost before confirming movement. In battle, choose a character command and its target. Team Set handles party and equipment changes; the shop handles supplies. Movement on the field and command selection in battle are separate steps.
ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat — About this game
ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat combines a tactical field map with command-based party battles. Each team contains up to three characters and spends action points on movement and encounters. When one member reaches an enemy, the rest of that team joins the fight. Classes contribute different skills, so a useful formation gives physical attackers and magic users complementary roles. Between missions, change equipment, buy supplies and summon additional units; the Engage system lets characters take in the abilities of ash warriors. Progress comes from completing chapter missions and developing teams that can handle different situations, rather than sending every unit forward without a plan.
