Quick start
Open match setup and choose a playing style. To try a strategic setting, use a nineteen-line board with the computer as black. Start the match, keep your first groups connected and inspect their liberties before expanding. In a later game, change one setting to compare the response.
Controls
Select setup options and board intersections with the stylus. Place a stone on an empty point, confirm if requested and wait for the reply. Use the displayed pass option when appropriate. Strategy selection is limited to nineteen-line games with the CPU playing black.

Choose from three playing styles and compare how opponents build positions and respond to pressure. Five strategic settings are also available, specifically when the computer plays black on a nineteen-line board. That restriction matters when setting up a match: those options are not offered for every board and colour combination. During play, balance territorial expansion against the safety of existing groups. Changing a style lets you revisit familiar decisions from a different angle and observe how the computer’s priorities affect the shape of the game.
