How to Play Asphalt: Urban GT 2
Quick start
Choose an available Arcade race and vehicle to learn the handling. Hold A to accelerate and brake with B before a tight turn. Once straight and clear of traffic, use R for nitrous. Finish a short event before moving to Evolution and investing race earnings in more vehicles.
Controls
DS default: D-pad left/right steers, A accelerates, B brakes, and X, Y or R uses nitrous. L looks behind, SELECT changes the view and START pauses. Button assignments are customizable. This is the DS layout; the first Urban GT uses different acceleration and boost buttons.

Asphalt: Urban GT 2 expands the DS racing formula with motorcycles alongside its cars. Arcade events provide short challenges, while Evolution links race results to a growing collection of vehicles. Traffic, rivals and police pressure keep the road busy, so entering a bend at a useful speed matters as much as reaching top speed. Nitrous creates passing opportunities when you leave enough space ahead. The sequel also changes the default controls: A accelerates, B brakes and X, Y or R activates nitrous. Learning that layout before entering a longer event prevents the first game's habits from causing a crash.
