How to Play Asphalt: Urban GT
Quick start
Choose Arcade, then Instant Play to begin with a randomly selected car and race. Hold B to accelerate, watch the lower-screen route and use Y before tight bends. Press A for boost when the road ahead is clear. Once comfortable with the handling, enter Evolution to earn money for vehicles and tuning.
Controls
DS default: D-pad left/right steers; B accelerates; A boosts; Y brakes; X sounds the horn. L looks behind, R changes the camera, SELECT switches the lights and START pauses. Menus support touch or the D-pad; A confirms and B goes back. Controls can be reassigned in Options.

Asphalt: Urban GT brings licensed cars to DS circuits where traffic and sharp corners interrupt the fastest route. Arcade mode offers quick events, including randomly selected races through Instant Play, while Evolution turns results into money for cars and upgrades. The lower screen keeps the route in view, helping you prepare for bends before they fill the road. Speed alone will not carry every race: braking early, avoiding traffic and saving boost for an open stretch can preserve a lead. This first DS game has its own button layout, with acceleration on B and boost on A.
