How to Play Assassin's Creed II: Discovery
Quick start
Start Memory Block 1, Go to the Thieves' Guild. Head right, climb the buildings and build speed before jumping between rooftops with B. Follow the waypoint toward the guild rather than dropping at every ledge. Use SELECT to check objectives and R to block if a guard interrupts the route.
Controls
DS buttons: left/right moves; B jumps; up climbs suitable walls; down lowers from ledges; down+B rolls. Y attacks, R blocks and holding L moves stealthily. Approach a guard from behind in stealth and use Y for a quiet kill. X hides in hay when prompted. SELECT shows objectives; START opens the pause menu.

Discovery gives Ezio a distinct DS adventure built around side-scrolling movement and momentum. A run-up makes longer rooftop jumps possible, while walls, ledges and poles link the routes through each mission. Normal stages allow a broader approach; stealth tasks demand attention to detection, and chase sequences reward keeping your speed. Combat combines attacks, blocking and opportunities to approach a guard quietly. The story begins in Venice before taking Ezio into the Spanish conflict. It is useful to learn when to climb and when to keep running, since stopping at every edge breaks the rhythm that carries you across larger gaps.
