How to Play Astro Invaders
Quick start
Choose a new game and an approachable difficulty. Move through the opening enemy wave and practise firing while avoiding its shots. Observe the next formation before chasing it. Reach the end of the sub-stage, then learn the boss’s attack pattern when one appears.
Controls
Use the directional movement and firing inputs shown by the DS game’s control screen. Move away from incoming shots while keeping your aim on the enemy formation. Menu options select difficulty and restart. Watch the play area during firing rather than treating the fire input as protection.
Astro Invaders — About this game
Astro Invaders sets its arcade shooting against a future crisis over Star Platinum, the mineral powering humanity’s colonies. A pirate fleet has shattered the defences and issued a demand for surrender. Fight through eight levels divided into four sub-stages each, meeting different enemies and bosses as the route develops. Difficulty settings run from easy through hard, with Insane opening after a hard-mode completion. Begin by learning enemy movement and leaving a safe path around incoming fire. Concentrated shooting helps, but staying clear of the next projectile matters more than following a target into danger.
