Atsumare! Power Pro Kun no DS Koushien combines baseball games with player development on the road to Koshien. Captain mode approaches the team from within, while manager mode follows a coaching career lasting up to ten years. Training, team management and equipment give decisions between matches a role in the season. In manager mode, command days fall on Mondays and Saturdays, and keeping the manager evaluation above zero is part of sustaining the career. Matches can use manager commands as well as the regular baseball control style. Decide how to prepare the roster, then consider the situation before ordering a runner forward: the advance command affects the lead runner and is not a command to return to the previous base.
