How to Play Azure Dreams
Quick start
Select NEW GAME and enter your name. Explore Monsbaiya, then head to the tower entrance at the north of town, where Kewne joins you. Follow his first-floor lessons on items, eggs and familiar commands. Keep the WindGem for returning to town, and speak to your mother at home to save and put important finds in the safe.
Controls
D-pad: move or select. A: talk, confirm or attack in the tower. B: cancel; hold B with a direction to run. START: possessions in town or the menu in the tower; in the possessions list, view an item's explanation. SELECT in the tower: skip a turn. Use the menu to manage equipment and familiars.
Azure Dreams — About this game
Climb the tower with a familiar, collect eggs and decide which finds deserve room in your bag. Fire, water and wind affect monster matchups, and fusion expands the possibilities for training companions. Returning home lets you store valuables in the safe, manage the stable and save with your mother. Collapsing in the tower costs the carried possessions, so an escape item can matter as much as a better weapon.
