How to Play B-Wings
Quick start
At first, choose HAMMER, which is easy to deal with surrounding enemies, or CANNON, which has high forward firepower. Use the D-pad to avoid enemy bullets while hitting A repeatedly, and be careful not to throw away the wing by pressing B in unnecessary situations. Press B to descend to low altitude only when passing through the barrage in the sky, and then ascend again after checking for obstacles on the ground. The wings that appear before the boss are often equipped with equipment that can reach weak points in the fortress, so don't stick to your current weapon and collect it.
Controls
Move FX-1 in 8 directions using the cross keys. Press the A button to fire the current wing weapon or normal bullet when unequipped. Press the B button to release the equipped wing, and if it is not equipped, it will plummet to low altitude. Pose at START. If you have a VOL item, press SELECT during pause to switch to the saved wing and consume the number of possessions.
B-Wings — About this game
The Famicom version of ``B-WING'' is a vertical scrolling shooter based on Data East's arcade work. Your aircraft FX-1 can be equipped with wings with different characteristics such as CANNON, WIDE, HAMMER, SIDE, and JUMP, and choosing weapons that match the weaknesses of the stage and boss will determine your strategy. If you remove the wings, you can dive to low altitude and avoid enemy bullets in the sky, but you will collide with low-level obstacles. On all 30 sides, mobile fortresses that are difficult to attack only from specific directions and heights await.
