How to Play Back Track
Quick start
Choose Normal Game from the Single Player Menu; Hard Game is the same campaign with tougher opposition, while Load Game resumes a cartridge save. Jim Track must clear the aliens and assimilated humans from the moon base, beam unassimilated people out of their pods, and ultimately start the self-destruct sequence. In the opening area, go through the north door, head east to the switch that opens the control room, then disable the force field blocking the stairs. Check the map often and conserve ammunition while looking for keycards and computer switches.
Controls
D-pad Up/Down moves forward or backward and Left/Right turns. L and R strafe sideways. A shoots the equipped weapon and also operates doors, switches and other actions. B changes weapon. START and SELECT open the map/game-menu functions used for map view, cartridge or temporary load/save, restart/quit and music settings; follow the labels shown in the menu. Menu choices use the D-pad and A, with B or SELECT backing out where shown.
