How to Play Bakugan: Rise of the Resistance
Quick start
Start the story with Dan and follow the objective toward the opening Meeting Ceros encounter. Place the available defensive Bakugan where its range covers the enemy route and collect DNA for more support. Continue to Training with Eva-Q8, the second battle, to learn upgrading, direct attacks and range before spending resources across the whole map.
Controls
Move with the directional pad. In exploration, use A at obstacles that the current character can clear and check the lower screen for the objective. During defence, follow the deployment prompts to spend DNA on support Bakugan. Eva-Q8’s lesson explains their range, upgrades and your active Bakugan’s attacks. Use the displayed battle commands while keeping the route to the replicator defended.
Bakugan: Rise of the Resistance — About this game
Rise of the Resistance combines overhead exploration with tower-defence battles on DS. Enemies follow routes toward your DNA replicator, and losing its health ends the defence. Spend collected DNA on stationary Bakugan whose ranges and attacks cover different stretches of the road. Your controlled Bakugan can also move around, collect resources and attack directly, so you have more to do than wait for towers to fire. Exploration uses the human brawlers and their obstacle-clearing abilities between encounters. Early battles introduce the system gradually, including Eva-Q8's lessons on upgrades and attack range.
