How to Play Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach
Quick start
Choose a player and begin the round. Before the first drive, select COURSE to inspect hazards, then return to SHOT. Use Up/Down to choose a suitable club and Left/Right to aim for the widest fairway area. Press B to open the meter, B again to start it, B near the desired power, then B close to the accuracy line. In rough or sand, take a shorter legal club and prioritize returning to the fairway instead of forcing maximum distance.
Controls
On the pre-shot menu, Up/Down highlights SHOT, COURSE or SCORE and B selects. On the shot screen, Left/Right aims, Up/Down changes club, B advances to the swing meter and A returns to the previous menu. For a stroke, press B to display the meter, B to start it, B to set power and B again to set accuracy. START and SELECT are not used during the shot routine.
Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach — About this game
Bandai Golf: Challenge Pebble Beach recreates an 18-hole round at the famous California course for one to four players. Before every stroke, the player can inspect the hole, review the scorecard, choose among fourteen clubs and aim around trees, bunkers, rough and coastal hazards. Wind changes the ball's flight, the current lie limits usable clubs and reduces distance, and sloped greens can pull a putt away from the cup. Hitting the ball uses a timed power-and-accuracy meter rather than a single button press, so a long drive can still hook or lose distance if the final timing is poor. There are no mulligans, making course management and safe recovery shots important across the full round.
