How to Play Barnyard Blast: Swine of the Night
Quick start
Begin the opening stage with the pistol selected. Practise a jump and a short burst of shots before approaching the first enemy group. Try another weapon from the lower-screen selector, then watch its ammunition or SP cost. At a boss, observe an attack cycle before closing in.
Controls
Move with the D-pad, press B to jump and Y to use the selected weapon. Choose weapons and acquired abilities on the touch screen, or cycle through them with L/R. The whip and some abilities consume SP; check the resource display before repeated use.
Barnyard Blast: Swine of the Night — About this game
Cowboy pig Robert Belmart sets out to rescue his kidnapped son in a comic monster adventure. This DS action game gives him a pistol, shotgun, dynamite and whip from the start, but their costs and usefulness differ. The pistol conserves resources; other attacks help when enemies crowd the route or approach from awkward angles. Boss victories add abilities that broaden Robert's options. Moving carefully, collecting health and ammunition and reading a boss's repeated attacks matter more than rushing blindly into the next group.
