How to Play Battle Baseball
Quick start
First, check the operation in an open game. For pitching, decide where to stand on the left and right, and when inputting A, change up/fork on the top, fastball on the bottom, curve on the right, and shoot on the left. To hit, press A briefly for a bunt, long press for a full swing. In defense, everyone moves using the D-pad, so get them to the landing point early, and use Up + A fine play only when necessary. Check your HP and don't abuse your special moves.
Controls
Use the cross keys to move the cursor and players, press A to decide, pitch, or hit, B to perform a special move, START to start/pause, and SELECT to change players. For pitching, press Direction + A to prepare for the pitch, and press Direction + B to prepare for a check. For hitting, short press A for bunt, long press for full swing. For defense, make a fine play with Up+A, and after catching the ball, throw the ball with Direction+A. When running a base, use direction +B to advance, and direction +A to return to base.
Battle Baseball — About this game
"Battle Baseball" is a baseball game for the Famicom in which Compati Hero characters are organized into eight teams. You can choose to play open games, league games, or watching games, and in addition to the usual pitching, hitting, fielding, and base running, you can use each player's special moves. Gundam, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, and Godzilla players have HP and experience points, and they grow through repeated matches. For pitching, you can change the type of pitch by using the D-pad, and use fine plays for defense and bunts and full swings for batting.
