How to Play Battletank

Quick start

Begin by learning the unusual speed and gun-elevation controls before chasing targets. Open the satellite map to orient yourself, then approach one threat at a time and switch weapons deliberately. Save the headquarters service stop until damage, fuel, or ammunition makes it worthwhile; it can only be used once per mission.

Controls

Left/Right steers. Hold B+Up to increase speed, B+Down to slow down, and at a stop B+Down to reverse. Without B, Up lowers the cannon sight and Down raises it. Select cycles weapons, A fires, Start opens the satellite map, and A+B together pauses or resumes play.

Battletank — About this game

Garry Kitchen's Battletank is a first-person armored combat game built around a ten-mission campaign. From the commander's view, you steer an M1A1 Abrams, identify targets, select the right weapon, and monitor the battlefield through a satellite map. Missions mix enemy armor and aircraft with navigation objectives, while headquarters offers a single opportunity to repair, refuel, and rearm the tank during each operation.
