How to Play BattleTanx
Quick start
Choose STORY with A and read the mission briefing; the campaign assigns the starting tank and level. With the default Mode 2 controls, hold A to move forward, turn with Left/Right and fire with B. Follow the objective arrow while checking the streets around obstacles. Record the password after completing a mission.
Controls
Default Mode 2: Up or A moves forward, Down reverses, Left/Right turns the tank and B fires. START pauses. Menus use the D-pad to choose, A to confirm and B to return. Options offers other control modes, which change movement and the fire button; these instructions describe Mode 2.
BattleTanx — About this game
A civil war has left rival tribes fighting over America's ruins, and Griffin joins the conflict to find his missing love. Story mode assigns your tank and mission as the campaign advances, rewarding completed stages with passwords. Battle Mode lets you choose a vehicle and level for a quick attempt or practice. Fast Mototanks, balanced M1A1s and armoured Goliaths offer different trade-offs. Read each briefing: destroying enemies, reaching a destination or collecting mission items can require a different route through the streets.
