How to Play Beat City
Quick start
Open Tutorial to practise the three gestures, then begin Beat Revolution. Keep the tutorials enabled for the first visit to each scene. Listen to the pattern and watch the visual cue before tapping; for a held note, keep contact until the release cue.
Controls
All rhythm actions use the touch screen: tap once, swipe or press and hold as the scene instructs. Match the musical and visual timing, including when to release a hold. START pauses during play; during a tutorial it can skip the lesson. Options offers left- or right-handed settings.
Beat City — About this game
Beat City follows Synchronizer through a city whose energy has been suppressed by Cacophony. Its DS rhythm scenes turn everyday actions into playful musical tasks, with gestures timed to sounds and animation rather than a long list of buttons. As your timing improves, the dull scenery fills with colour and your rankings help the adventure advance. The story links twenty minigames, while individual tutorials explain the rhythm of each new situation. Returning to familiar scenes offers a way to improve a rank after the first clear.
