How to Play The Bee Game
Quick start
Begin a new adventure and follow the opening movement guidance. In the first area, find flowers before attempting a longer gap, then practise a short jump and watch the available flight resource. Approach an enemy from above for a bounce, keeping space to land safely.
Controls
Use the D-pad to guide your bee and the indicated jump action to leave the ground or make a short hovering crossing. Gather pollen from flowers to support flight. Land on suitable enemies from above rather than walking into them. Touch-screen minigames and the colouring activity use the stylus and their own onscreen instructions.
The Bee Game — About this game
A storm scatters members of Maya's hive, sending Maya and Willie on a search across meadows, forest, pond, caves and garden. The DS platform adventure mixes ground movement and short hovering jumps, with flowers supplying the pollen needed to keep Maya going. Other insects become obstacles to avoid or bounce on as you work through the route. The handheld edition also offers three touch-screen minigames and a stylus colouring activity, providing smaller diversions from the search for the lost friends.
