How to Play Bejeweled 3
Quick start
Choose Classic to learn the rule or Zen to experiment without running out of moves. Find two neighbours whose exchange will complete a line of three. Drag one into the other's space, wait for the falling gems and examine the next match before trying a four-gem combination.
Controls
Use the stylus to touch and drag a gem into an adjacent horizontal or vertical space. The exchange must create a match of at least three. Match four in a line to create an explosive gem, or five in a line for a hypercube. Watch each mode's objective or timer as well as the gem board.
Bejeweled 3 — About this game
Bejeweled 3 returns to adjacent-gem swapping on Nintendo DS. Every successful move makes a horizontal or vertical line of at least three matching gems; longer combinations create special pieces that can clear much more of the board. Classic rewards planning until no moves remain, Zen provides a relaxed endless alternative, Lightning adds time pressure and Quest sets specific tasks. Further modes change what to watch, such as butterflies climbing the board or treasures below it. Cascades can reshape the next move, so scan the new layout before another swap.
