How to Play Big Brain Academy
Quick start
Touch the title screen, choose an empty Homeroom slot and use Register to enter your name. Select your saved name, then Practice. Choose a category, activity and Easy difficulty; read the task before answering. Review missed questions after the round. Once comfortable, try Test for five timed activities and a combined result.
Controls
Touch answers, write numbers or draw lines with the stylus as the activity requires. Watch the upper screen for the problem. Tap the timer to move it to the other side of the touch screen. START quits the current activity. In Coin-parison, A toggles the displayed coin values.
Big Brain Academy — About this game
Big Brain Academy turns quick thinking into fifteen small activities across five categories: Think, Memorize, Analyze, Compute and Identify. You might recall a flashing sequence, count cubes, compare coins or pick matching silhouettes. A full Test chooses one activity from each category and gives you sixty seconds for each, then presents a brain-weight score, type and letter grade. Practice lets you choose an activity and one of three difficulties, chase medals and review missed questions. The emphasis is on improving your game records, rather than measuring a real brain. The original DS release also offers local Versus for two to eight players with one game card, rewarding quick correct answers and penalizing mistakes.
