Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure — About this game

Bill & Ted's Excellent Video Game Adventure is an isometric NES action-adventure based on the film. Time rebels have moved famous historical people into the wrong eras, so Bill and Ted must inspect the altered telephone directory, dial the highlighted number, and enter a themed world. In each stage, four possible bait objects are hidden in scenery; clues from locals help identify and locate the item that attracts the missing historical figure. After finding both, the player returns to the phone booth and delivers the person to the correct time. Medieval, Western, Colonial, Modern, and Ancient settings add hazards, hostile residents, limited coins, and special travel sections.
