How to Play Bionicle Heroes
Quick start
Choose New Game, select a save slot and enter the first available level. Practise aiming before advancing, collect the first masks and switch powers when the route requires it. Watch ammunition and armour, and use checkpoints as you progress.
Controls
The Control Pad moves the Toa. Aim with the Touch Screen’s central circle, or A/B/X/Y in button controls. L fires and R uses a special ability/construction. SELECT or a Toa icon switches masks. Double-tap the Touch Screen to jump. START pauses. Menu A confirms and B returns; options let you choose the control layout.
Bionicle Heroes — About this game
The DS edition is a first-person shooter in which you explore levels as a Toa, aiming a crosshair rather than watching a hero from behind. Recover masks to change weapons and special abilities, using different Toa powers to overcome hazards and reach new areas. Collect ammunition, armour runes and LEGO pieces while watching the radar for routes and threats. LEGO pieces charge Hero Mode, and special construction points turn your abilities toward opening passages and activating structures. Levels unlock in order, while revisiting areas with a wider mask collection helps reveal hidden rewards.
