How to Play Bomberman DS
Quick start
Touch the title screen or press A, choose Normal mode and begin the first stage. On the item screen, touch START to enter. Place a bomb beside a soft block and move around a solid wall before it explodes. Defeat the enemies, reveal the exit and enter it when it shines. Activate collected items from the touch screen when needed.
Controls
Use the +Control Pad to move, A to confirm or place bombs and B to cancel menus. Touch stocked item icons to activate them in Normal mode. START pauses solo play. With the corresponding power-up, B detonates remote bombs and Y uses Bomb Punch, Line Bomb or Shield.
Bomberman DS — About this game
Bomberman DS follows the mystery of mutated Bomb Crystals through ten areas and one hundred stages in Normal mode. Destroy soft blocks to open paths, defeat the enemies and find the hidden exit. The exit becomes usable once the enemies are gone, but blasting it releases more trouble. Collected power-ups enter your stock rather than taking effect immediately: touch the item you want to use and adapt your bomb count, firepower or movement to the next encounter. Bonus and boss stages break up the journey. Plan an escape route before setting a bomb, since its blast can cost you a life as easily as an enemy attack.
