How to Play Boulder Dash EX
Quick start
Press START, choose Boulder Dash EX > Story, and enter the first stage. Dig through earth while predicting where rocks will fall; collect at least the orange target number of Mirror Jewels to open the exit. Try the Tutorial first to learn pushing and kicking, and never clear the space directly below an unsupported rock unless you can escape.
Controls
D-pad: move, push rocks, or aim EX items. A: kick the rock you face (pushes one space in Classic). B: use the selected EX inventory item. L/R: cycle items backwards/forwards. START: pause menu. SELECT: map preview; press again to zoom.
