How to Play Brain Buster Puzzle Pak
Quick start
Choose Training, enter the mode and open Tutorial. Use the Puzzle and Operation lessons for Sudoku, then practice before starting Game's first puzzle. Tap a number first, then the cell where it belongs, checking row, column and box. To pause, touch Menu. If you earn an Answer Ball, use it only when you want a correct entry revealed and accept the score cost.
Controls
Use the stylus throughout. In Sudoku and Kakuro, choose a number and then its destination cell. Sudoku highlights existing instances of the chosen number. Touch Menu to pause; START and SELECT are not the pause controls. Each other puzzle has its own tools, explained by Operation Tutorial. Tap three passing creatures to earn an Answer Ball.
Brain Buster Puzzle Pak — About this game
Brain Buster Puzzle Pak brings Sudoku, Kakuro, Light Up, Nurikabe and Slitherlink to Nintendo DS. A city menu turns each puzzle type into a building, with tutorials for learning both the rules and the touch tools. Training supplies changing practice boards without adding to your score, while Game offers fixed challenges that progress from the opening puzzles. Small creatures sometimes cross the frame; tapping three earns an Answer Ball that reveals one correct entry, at a cost to your puzzle score. Solving boards also supplies collectible background pieces, giving another reason to return to a different kind of logic problem.
