How to Play Brainstorm Series - Word Up
Quick start
Choose an activity from the collection and read its rules. Start with Hangman: select a letter, check whether the word reveals a matching position and use that feedback for the next guess. Try Wordfinder or a timed activity after learning the letter input.
Controls
Use the touch screen to select the activity and the letter choices shown for that round. Read the word, remaining choices and timer where displayed before entering another answer. Follow each activity's own on-screen instructions for submitting a word or marking a search result.
Brainstorm Series - Word Up — About this game
This collection brings WordBlast, Pickletter, Hangman and Wordfinder together on Nintendo DS. The activities use letter tiles to build words, search for hidden words or uncover a word through guesses. Challenge mode adds another way to test your vocabulary across the collection. Each activity has its own pace, so read its instructions before treating it like another familiar word puzzle. Start with Hangman to concentrate on individual letter choices, then try a search or timed activity for a change of rhythm. Compare the clues with the letters still available and avoid repeating guesses that the screen has already ruled out.
