How to Play Bubble Bobble Double Shot
Quick start
Start a single-player run as Bub. In the first stage, move toward an enemy, press Y to trap it and touch the trapped bubble with your dragon to pop it. Use B to reach higher platforms and clear every enemy to advance. When coloured markers appear later, use L/R to choose the matching dragon. If lives run out, follow the minigame's touch instructions to earn a continue.
Controls
DS: D-pad moves, B jumps and Y blows bubbles. L/R cycles between Bub, Bob and Bubu, changing bubble colour. Contact a trapped enemy bubble with your dragon to burst it and collect the resulting food. Touch controls are used in the continue minigames; follow that minigame's gesture rather than trying to steer the platform action with the stylus.
Bubble Bobble Double Shot — About this game
Bubble Bobble Double Shot keeps the trap-and-pop platform action but gives one player three dragons to switch between. Bub, Bob and the red Bubu each blow a different bubble colour. Ordinary enemies can be trapped directly, while coloured markers demand the matching dragon; some shades require two colours in sequence. Stages extend across both screens, so reaching a safe platform and watching the space above matter as much as firing. Popped enemies leave score items, encouraging chains before you collect the rewards. Losing every life leads to a touch-screen minigame, and winning it grants a continue, making that short challenge part of the run's survival.
