How to Play Build-a-lot
Quick start
Choose Play Career and read the current level goals on the upper screen. Tap an empty lot you own, then Construct House and the intended house. Check the displayed requirements; obtain missing workers, materials or blueprints through their tabs. Tap OK when the requirements are met. Watch the rent cycle and repair a house showing a wrench before relying on its income.
Controls
Use the stylus to select a lot or house, then tap an action along the bottom of the touch screen. The Workers, Materials and Blueprints tabs handle hiring, supplies and plans. Select a damaged house and Repair to restore it; use available upgrade or sale actions according to the goal. START pauses. The upper screen displays money, rent, deadline and objectives.
Build-a-lot — About this game
Build-a-lot turns a neighbourhood into a property-management puzzle. Career Mode sends you between towns to complete the mayors’ requests; Casual Mode instead asks you to reach a money target using your own strategy. Building requires available workers, materials and the right blueprint. Upgrades raise house value and rent, but damage, unpaid taxes or work in progress stop that house from paying rent. The upper screen separates current rent from potential income, helping you see why a promising estate is not yet earning its full amount. Decide when to repair, build or sell rather than treating every empty lot as an immediate construction order.
