How to Play Bust-A-Move 4
Quick start
Press START, choose Puzzle and confirm with A. Select Easy for a five-round introduction with an aiming guide, then choose a character. Use Left/Right to line up a match and A to fire. On pulley boards, watch which side is becoming heavier before adding another bubble.
Controls
Left/Right: aim. A: launch a bubble or confirm a menu choice. Hold SELECT with Left/Right for fine aim; Up returns the pointer to a vertical angle. START begins or pauses play. Keep bubbles from crossing the lower danger line; matched groups need at least three of the same colour.
Bust-A-Move 4 — About this game
Puzzle mode sends you through branching zones of bubble layouts. Some boards hang their clusters from a balance: adding bubbles to one side makes it descend, so clearing the right connection can change the whole board. Star and rainbow bubbles introduce further ways to break up awkward formations. Computer battles turn dropped bubbles into pressure on the opponent, and Challenge mode assesses your skill. Read the next bubble before firing and plan both the colour match and what will fall afterward.
