How to Play C.O.P. The Recruit
Quick start
Start the story and follow the introductory assignments to firearms training. Read the objective, locate its destination and travel there. Tap the weapon icon for combat, practise moving while aiming and learn the first shooting exercise before continuing the investigation.
Controls
The Control Pad moves Dan. Tap the on-screen weapon icon to ready the gun, slide the stylus to aim and press L to fire in the right-handed setup. Keep moving with the pad during combat. Driving uses its own displayed controls; learn steering and braking during the early travel assignments.

Former street racer Dan Miles joins a police programme and works through an open New York full of driving assignments, pursuits and armed encounters. The story mixes travel between objectives with on-foot action, so learning the city and handling a vehicle matters as much as aiming. A handheld police interface tracks the work ahead. Visit the early firearms training before tackling a difficult mission: drawing a weapon changes the view, and the stylus then controls your aim while the directional pad keeps Dan moving. Complete the current objective before wandering into another task, and practise a route so the journey back is easier after a failed attempt.
