How to Play Captain America: Super Soldier
Quick start
Start the story and learn movement, jumping and the shield throw in the opening area. Clear the guards, inspect switches and look for a captive soldier before taking the next route.
Controls
Move with the directional controls and use the displayed DS layout for jump, melee and shield throw. Aim a throw toward enemies or switch targets, then let the returning shield finish its path. Follow the current prompts for blocking and special obstacles; do not rush cameras.
Captain America: Super Soldier — About this game
The DS adventure sends Captain America through HYDRA's base in linked side-scrolling areas. Throwing the shield can strike enemies on its outward and return paths, while punches and kicks finish a nearby fight. Other sections ask you to avoid security cameras, rescue captive soldiers or bounce the shield between targets to work a switch. Running transitions add gaps and obstacles to cross. Look for dossiers that expand the story and health items before a harder encounter. Read the room before attacking: a shield target or a safe route can be more useful than charging the closest guard.
