Quick start
Choose a car and event, inspect the opening route and practise driving on a clear section. Test the displayed speed controls, then approach the first rival with room to turn away.

The D-pad controls direction and menu selection, A confirms menu choices, B cancels where offered. Use the race's displayed action guide for acceleration, braking and vehicle actions; learn speed control before combining it with collisions.

Use the first event to learn steering and the shape of the route. Leave room around a corner before committing to a collision and check where the car will point after contact. When a run goes badly, separate driving errors from failed attacks so that the next attempt has one clear thing to improve.
