How to Play Cars
Quick start
Enter the opening event and learn the race controls. When a pit stop begins, tap the wheel nuts in the indicated sequence. For Guido's activity, practise one tyre throw and adjust the stroke for the stack's height.
Controls
Use the displayed driving controls in race events. Pit stops use ordered taps on the nuts; tyre stacking uses stylus throws. Follow the individual activity tutorial because the camera, objective and input change between events.
Cars — About this game
The first Cars game on DS combines race missions with a collection of activities inspired by the film. Racing uses an overhead view, while other games move the camera to suit the task. Pit stops ask you to touch wheel nuts in the shown order; Guido's tyre-stacking activity instead has you fling tyres into a growing stack. The challenge changes as the stack reaches higher, so learn the distance of a stroke rather than repeating the same flick. Read every event's goal before starting: this version moves between driving, timing and touch precision instead of offering one long open-road race.
