The Vanishing Files follows Cate's help with police cases through several visual investigation tasks. Find listed objects in cluttered scenes, assemble evidence, compare a hideout with her vision and use the clues to identify a suspect. These stages ask different questions: an object hunt needs a precise tap, while a lineup needs you to compare personal details rather than guess a face. On DS the shoulder-button zoom helps inspect small details. Avoid random tapping, which can cost time; scan one area carefully before moving to another.
