How to Play Championship Pony
Quick start
Choose rider and horse, follow Gerry's first training sessions and buy the initial bridle and saddle when directed. Practise a jump before choosing a competition.
Controls
Slide the blue cursor to steer and double-tap to jump; alternatively use the Control Pad and L or R to jump. Dressage uses ordered touches matching the upper icons. B backs out of menus; START pauses.
Championship Pony — About this game
Championship Pony begins by choosing a rider and horse, then learning at Gerry's riding school. Cross-country and show jumping ask you to steer and jump obstacles, while dressage changes to copying an icon sequence from the upper screen onto lower-screen buttons. Between events, caring mini-games increase the horse's loyalty and prize money buys equipment or another horse. Return to the training option when a jump is difficult; improving a route and caring for the horse serve different parts of the competition.
