How to Play Chara-Chenko
Quick start
Choose parts to make a first Pera, confirm it and enter an available challenge. Check the new parts you earn and return to the editor to change the design.
Controls
Use the displayed DS character menus to select parts and confirm a Pera. Follow each challenge's own controls. Photo-based creation requires the DSi camera feature; use part selection when it is unavailable.
Chara-Chenko — About this game
Chara-Chenko turns character creation into a collecting game. Combine face and body parts to make a Pera resembling a friend or an original invention, then use that character in games that award new parts. Creation is therefore a starting point for play rather than only a portrait editor. Begin with a simple character and try an available challenge before spending time refining every detail. The original DSi version can also use a camera photo for a face, but ordinary part selection provides the basic creation route; camera input depends on the hardware features available.
