How to Play Cheetahmen II
Quick start
Press Start, then move slowly to the right so enemies appear one at a time. In the first two levels, use Apollo's crossbow from a safe distance and jump only after reading enemy height. Hercules takes over for levels three and four with a close-range attack. The untouched cartridge is commonly blocked by a level-four bug, so the later Aries stages are not normally reached.
Controls
D-pad Left/Right: move. B: jump. A: attack—Apollo fires the crossbow, Hercules punches and kicks, and Aries swings his clubs. Rapid A+B can make Hercules or Aries gain height while attacking. Start: start or pause. While paused, Select resets to the title screen.
Cheetahmen II — About this game
Cheetahmen II is an unfinished, unlicensed NES action platformer built around three mutant heroes. Apollo fights with a crossbow, Hercules uses a combined punch and kick, and Aries swings clubs in the otherwise inaccessible final stages. Characters change after each pair of levels, but the original cartridge contains severe bugs that normally prevent progression beyond the fourth stage. Careful scrolling, measured jumps, and learning each hero's attack range are essential because enemy placement and collision behavior are unreliable.
