How to Play Chessmaster: The Art of Learning
Quick start
Choose a learning activity or an easy opponent. In a mini-game read its special objective first, then use a legal move to test one idea before starting a full match.
Controls
Select a piece and its destination with the stylus. Use the displayed menus for lessons, opponents and mini-games; read each challenge because its goal can differ from checkmate.
Chessmaster: The Art of Learning — About this game
Chessmaster: The Art of Learning combines regular matches with focused mini-games. In Fork My Fruit, place a piece so it threatens matching targets; Breaking the Lines asks a knight to capture pawns, while Pawn Charge focuses on reaching the far side safely. These exercises isolate ideas that are harder to notice in a crowded full game. Begin with a lesson or one short challenge, then try to recognize the same attack pattern in a normal match. Always check what the opponent threatens before committing a move, even when a puzzle rewards an aggressive tactic.
