How to Play Chicken Little - Ace in Action
Quick start
Choose Single Player and a save slot, then begin the opening training. Read Mr. Fish's briefing and complete each character's tutorial. As Ace, move with the Control Pad and test the four firing buttons before entering a group of enemies. Check the lower-screen map and briefing when you need to find the next objective.
Controls
Ace and Runt move with the Control Pad and fire with X up/forward, B down/back, Y left and A right; combine buttons for diagonals. Hold L for a shield. Ace holds R for grenade mode; Runt holds R to target a power shot, then releases it to fire. Abby steers with the Control Pad, fires her primary cannon with R/X/B and special weapon with A/Y. Touch the lower screen to change ammunition; START pauses.
Chicken Little - Ace in Action — About this game
This DS action game alternates Ace's ground combat, Runt's tank and Abby's spacecraft. Each character has a mandatory first-use tutorial, so learn the different firing and evasive actions before charging into a mission. Mr. Fish gives the objectives at the start of each level, and the lower screen provides weapon selection, a mini-map and briefing information. Move separately from your firing direction to stay mobile while targeting enemies. Rescue aliens to earn upgrade points, then spend them on improvements shared by all three heroes. The mix of on-foot movement, tank attacks and ship manoeuvres changes how you approach each stage without losing sight of the current objective.
