How to Play Wurm: Journey to the Center of the Earth

Quick start

In vehicle sections, fire with B and hold A plus a direction to select a form or weapon suited to the terrain. During cockpit battles, move the crosshairs onto weak points and shoot while using SELECT when you need free aiming. On foot, use A to jump, B to fire, Up to kick and Down to crouch. Read conversations instead of skipping them blindly, because crew commands and the displayed hit probability guide story battles.

Controls

Wurm: Journey to the Center of the Earth — About this game

Wurm: Journey to the Center of the Earth is a story-driven NES action game set amid mysterious earthquakes in 1999. Moby and the crew descend in the transforming WURM to locate an earlier expedition and investigate the subterranean Nonmalta civilization. Its stages alternate between horizontal or vertical vehicle shooting, first-person cockpit battles, side-scrolling missions on foot and command-based conversations. Vehicle energy and armour, five crew members, weapon selection and the probability shown during cockpit encounters all matter across the journey.
