How to Play Baseball Simulator 1.000
Quick start
Start with an Exhibition game using an Ultra team. At bat, position with the D-pad and press A to swing; press B before the pitch to arm an Ultra Hit. On the mound, choose a pitch direction and press A, or tap Up twice to open Ultra Pitch selection. Save limited Ultra Points for critical innings; they reset at the next game.
Controls
Batting: D-pad positions batter/selects bases; A swings or orders a return; B activates Ultra Hit or advances/steals. Pitching: Left/Right position pitcher, directions select pitch, A throws, Up twice opens Ultra Pitch. Fielding: D-pad moves, A throws, B triggers eligible Ultra Fielding. START pauses.

Choujin Ultra Baseball, released in English as Baseball Simulator 1.000, combines conventional batting, pitching, baserunning, and defense with spectacular Ultra Plays. Ultra teams spend a limited pool of points on snaking pitches, explosive hits, super jumps, and other special actions. Exhibition, multiplayer series, season, watch, league creation, and detailed team editing modes provide substantial depth even when the fantasy abilities are disabled.
